Another Milestone
We are proud of our girls as they finish their high-school days.
This was no small accomplishment, coming into a high-school (10-12 grade) of 3000+ and graduating with honors.
Note the size of the graduating class-- over 600 kids!
It was a joyful occasion that their grandparents, uncle, neice, aunt, and nephew were able to attend.

Bragging a Little
Bethany and Danalee have both been accepted to Campbellsville University, a Baptist University in Ky, about 2 hours from here. They are counting down the days until graduation from high school.
This is a poem Danalee did for a school project. It was to be from the viewpoint of something in the story she read. See if you can figure out what is the inanimate object that is speaking.....
In His Eyes
There is something in his eyes when he stares
A sense of longing
To be with the woman whose faceis printed on me
Eyes of love and lust.
Sometimes I feel his rough dirty hands
Begin to sweat when he grips me real tight
Sometimes tears fall down his grimy face
Leaving a clean line on his cheek where it washed the dirt away.
I always wonder what is going on in his mind
When he pulls me out of his damp overused wallet
To stare for hours.
Or sometimes just for seconds.
Something in this man’s eyes has changed
From eyes of love to eyes of hate
He has trouble looking at me anymore
He holds me over a flame until I become dust.

Family Update Long Overdue
I've promised so many of you an update on our family, and I just have not taken the time to do that yet. I'm embarrased. But, here goes a long ago promised update-- overdue by about 2 years! We moved from Sao Paulo Brazil, the second largest city in the world in 2004, back to the US. After 10 years as IMB missionaries, we sensed the Lord leading us back into the pastorate. We went to Brazil in 1994 knowing that one day, He would return us to the pastorate. Our hearts and passion never left the pastorate. In the summer of 2004, a church in Fairfield Ohio contacted us and eventually invited us to be their pastor. It has been a wonderful time, and the Lord has given us such a great fit and is blessing His work here. Our church website is www.rhbaptist.org, and I try to jot my thoughts or sermon summaries from time to time on a blog at www.pastordannyblogs.blogspot.com
The Rollins Transition:
Things changed from urban and tropical, to Midwest and cold!
We went from this:
Bethany and Danalee are seniors at Fairfield High School, and preparing to graduate in June. They are doing the pre-college stuff, and both plan to study at Campbellsville University, a Baptist College about 2 hours from us. Bethany's boyfriend is Jordan. Danalee and Chris are now an item. Both are committed to the Lord, and we are blessed by their lives and testimonies.
Brittney studied 2 years at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas before love brought her to Cincinnati. She was married in March (2006) to a Kentucky boy she met while we lived in Brazil. When we moved back to the states, they rekindled their relationship and love took over. They are living in Burlington, Ky, and we get to see them often. She is in nursing school, and BT is a sheriff's deputy with the Boone County Sheriff's Dept. They both love the Lord, and BT leads worship often in our church and his home church. Chris has graduated from Ouachita Baptist University, and is workin
g as a videographer with Training Pastor's International. He has traveled to several countries, and works helping train pastors in Central and South America and Cuba. They are currently holding training groups scattered around 6 countries and training 3000 pastors. If you would like to see more of what he is doing, check out TPI's website at www.trainingpastors.org
If you would like to be on his prayer support team and receive regular email and newsletter updates, drop him an email or give him a call. I know he'd love to hear from you.
Leann is working part-time, and enjoying being a pastor's wife. God is using her to teach a Sunday School class and various other women's studies. She is having a great ministry in the lives of women. She has such an incredible heart for the Lord, and is an incredible communicator.
We have been so blessed by God's goodness to us. Many of you were so vital in our missions ministry as you faithfully prayed for us and encouraged us in our minstry. We will never be able to repay you for that incredible ministry to us. And we would love to hear from you in the comment section below. Let us know that you've seen this page, and what is going on with you and yours.
Love, Danny, Leann, and the "kids".
